Mix by Omid with some tracks of the MC Aces

On the 19th of July 2009 Omid hosted a radio show on KXLU for 3 hours and this is the whole show in one file. It was posted up on Blunt Rapps but the link is down and the post seems to be forgotten.

The interesting thing with this mix is that it contains some tracks from the MC Aces from around 1988 as Omid says. These tracks were recorded before the Freestyle Fellowship existed as we now know it. You know Haiku D'Etats "Mike, Aaron and Eddie"? It's based on the track "Mike, Eric and Eddie", they are Mikah 9, Spoon and Aceyalone. Also there is a cool track with Acey on the hook where he is hella playful and using lines like "let's clap your hands, drop your pants and listen to what I say".
Besides the cool MC Aces stuff there are also some rare tracks from Awol One and the Nonce. Additionally, Los Undergods Mexicanos who are very deep record collectors also provide some interesting tracks.

somehow all your links point to anonym.to which says 404 not found - the requested url was not found...

Probably you have deactivated forwarding within your browser options. As you are the first one reporting such a thing and I don't have any problems using different browsers, I can give the following advices.

- you can copy the link and open it with jdownloader for example. It's easy to use and highly recommendable.

- you can copy the link to a new browser tab and delete http://anonym.to/?
The effort will be higher.

- check your browser options for "forwarding" or something similar

If it doesn't work out can you tell me which browser you are using?

Do you know from where that Sach song is from? Grand Daddy Sach or sum like that. I know that his upcoming album is called Grand Daddy Sach but this song seems a bit older..

That's a good question. Omid said that the Nonce track after it was only a demo track. I think that Grand Daddy Sach is also unreleased he just said that Sach emailed him the tracks to put them into the mix.

To me it sounds old too but sadly there are no further hints. I didn't even heard of that upcoming album from Sach.

But as you mention an upcoming album, Omid also mentioned an upcoming album by Spoon, which is overdue now. I hope it will drop soon...

About two month ago I asked Sach about the new album and his answer was that it will drop may/june so anytime now hopefully.. He leaked this song so far anyway: http://youtu.be/V5nthdfF_Wk

DOPE! DOPE! DOPE! Just discovered 2 mc's with powerful tracks with OD on the set, Baba Zoom's "Space and Time" and No Sleep's "Solution"...those tracks take me back when internet was still a foreign concept to most and radio was the main source ...anyone have information about these MCs? or even whether OD has officially put these tracks on some album? I'm yet to finish listening to this but it's a keeper!

Baba Zoom also seems to go as Nat Burner. Discogs says that he produced one track on the Co-Deez album "Royalty".
